Cooperation of Disperindag Sidoarjo in the training of processing seaweed product was conducted for 5 days from 9-13 October 2017. In the training, participants will be given material theory first by the laboratory staff. The theory consists of food, bioenergy, food processing techniques and agricultural products, technology of packaging, determination of shelf-life , good manufacturing practice, product marketing management, and processing based on seaweed product. After given the theory, the event  continued with practice by Ir. Supriono  in the Laboratory of Food Processing Technology and Agricultural Products (TPPHP). In the training of processing seaweed product, participants also visited  UKM Bu Nur which is  engaged in the processing of seaweed. So with this visiting, participants more understand directly about the processing of seaweed product. Hopefully through the training that has been done, the processing of seaweed products can be further developed in the future both through the home industry and middle scale/ upper scale industry. Given the enormous amount of seaweed  resources in Indonesia.
